Getting Started with Dwight
Follow these steps to install the extension, set up your account, and start using AI prompts in minutes.
Setup Guide
Install the Chrome Extension
Open the Chrome Web Store and search for "Dwight", or head to our homepage and click Add to Chrome. In the popup that appears, click Add extension to confirm. Chrome will download and install Dwight automatically — it only takes a few seconds.
Create Your Account
Click the Dwight eyeglasses icon that appears in your browser toolbar. A sign-in panel will open — choose to sign up with your email address or continue with Google, LinkedIn, X, or Microsoft for one-click access. Once signed in, your account and settings will sync across devices.
Pin the Extension
For quick access, pin Dwight to your toolbar. Click the puzzle piece icon (Extensions menu) in the top-right corner of Chrome, find Dwight in the list, and click the pin icon next to it. The Dwight eyeglasses icon will now always be visible in your toolbar.
Open an AI Chat
Navigate to any supported AI platform — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, Grok, or Perplexity. Dwight activates automatically on these pages and is ready to use as soon as you open a conversation.
Improve Your First Prompt
Type a prompt into the AI chat input. You'll see a small Dwight button appear next to the text field — click it to open the Dwight panel with your prompt pre-loaded. Click Improve Prompt and Dwight will rewrite it for clarity, specificity, and quality. Then click Apply to Tab to send the improved version back to the chat. That's it — you're ready to prompt smarter.
