Account & Billing

Everything you need to manage your subscription, update payment details, understand billing cycles, and get refunds.

Managing your subscription

Plans & Upgrades

Dwight offers four plans: Free, Starter, Pro, and Ultra. You can upgrade or change your plan at any time. Subscription management is handled securely through Stripe.

To manage your subscription: Go to Settings → Usage & Billing. Paid subscribers will see a "Manage Subscription" button that opens the Stripe Customer Portal, where you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan.

To upgrade from the Free plan: Visit Settings → Usage & Billing and click "Upgrade Now". You'll be taken to a Stripe checkout page to complete your purchase. Your new plan features activate immediately after payment.

To cancel: Open the Stripe Customer Portal from Settings → Usage & Billing and cancel from there. You'll keep your current plan's features until the end of the billing period.

Payment methods

Cards & Updates

Dwight accepts all major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Payments are processed securely through Stripe — we never store your full card details on our servers.

To update your payment method: Go to Settings → Usage & Billing and click "Manage Subscription". This opens the Stripe Customer Portal, where you can update your card details. Future charges will automatically use the new card.

If a payment fails due to an expired or declined card, we'll email you with a link to update your details. You'll have a short grace period before your subscription is paused.

Billing cycles

Invoices & Charges

Dwight subscriptions renew automatically on a monthly basis. Your billing date is set to the day you first subscribed — for example, if you subscribed on the 10th, you'll be charged on or around the 10th of each month.

Viewing your next billing date: Your current billing period and next billing date are shown in Settings → Usage & Billing.

Viewing invoices: All past invoices are available in the Stripe Customer Portal, accessible from Settings → Usage & Billing → Manage Subscription. Each invoice is downloadable — useful for expense reports or accounting.

Refunds & cancellations

7-Day Policy

We offer a 7-day refund window from the date of any charge. If you're unsatisfied within 7 days of being billed, contact us at support@dwightprompt.com and we'll issue a full refund — no questions asked.

Requests received after the 7-day window are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. We're always willing to talk, so don't hesitate to reach out.

Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. You won't receive a prorated refund for unused days, but you'll keep access to all paid features until the period concludes.

Plan limits & usage

Quotas & Tracking

Each plan includes limits on the features you can use each month. You can track your current usage at any time in Settings → Usage & Billing, where progress bars show how much of each quota you've used.

The following features are gated by your plan:

  • Prompt Improvements per month — the number of times you can use the Playground to improve a prompt
  • Saved Prompts — the total number of prompts you can save to your library
  • Personas — the number of custom personas you can create to shape the AI's tone and style
  • Libraries — the number of collections you can create to organize your saved prompts

Higher-tier plans (Pro and Ultra) offer significantly increased limits or unlimited usage on select features. Visit Settings → Usage & Billing to compare plans and find one that fits your needs.
